Alex Blackwell capped off another stellar season with the bat, taking out the ACA Player of the Month award for January.
The New South Wales skipper gained 32% of the current female players' vote, ahead of Tasmania's Erin Burns and the VicSpirit's Meg Lanning, who shared second spot with 26%.
The 31-year-old was prolific across both forms, making 121 runs at an average of 81 from her two WNCL appearances, including an 81 against the VicSpirit.
In her two WT20 visits to the crease she managed to score 110 runs at an average of 110, guiding her side to the Final where she posted 72 in the 51-run win over Victoria.
Alex also topped scored for the Breakers in their WNCL Final triumph over South Australia, posting 67 in the 144-run win.
