As tensions simmer and distrust builds over pay talks, cricket great Mike Hussey insists players don't want to be at loggerheads with their governing body but are adamant the current financial model must remain.
Hussey says the set-percentage model that has determined player pay since 1997 needs to be retained at a time when there are no guarantees about the future of the sport's three formats.
