England women take 1-0 lead at Taunton

The Southern Stars lost the opening match of their Ashes campaign on Tuesday, going down by four wickets in the first of two ODIs in Taunton

After losing early wickets, Ellyse Perry (78) and Alex Blackwell (58) put the tourists back on track with a 121-run stand.

Late hitting from Alyssa Healy (29no) helped Australia to a total of 9/238, after losing four teammates to run outs.

England chased down their target in the 46th over, finishing 6-240. Erin Osbourne (3/39) was the pick of the Aussie bowlers.

England's Natalie Sciver was named player of the match for her knock of 66.
