Phil Hughes will take over as captain of Australia A for the final match of the series after Moises Henriques was ruled out with a groin strain.

Henriques will return to New South Wales for rehabilitation, while Victorian fast-bowler Clint McKay joins the squad ahead of the second match.

Cameron Boyce and Michael Neser will return to Brisbane to take part in the myFootDr Queensland Bulls' pre-season camp. Fellow Queenslander Peter Forrest will, however, remain with the Australia A squad to provide him with the opportunity for further batting practice.

Australia A will be looking for revenge after a disappointing eight-wicket loss in the first four-day match when they face South Africa A in Townsville from 14-17 August.
