Western Australian Warrior, Michael Klinger, has suffered an untimely broken arm with Gloucestershire during a Royal London One-Day Cup match overnight.
X-Rays confirmed that Klinger has broken his left arm after being struck by a Mark Footitt delivery. He was forced to retire on two after just eight deliveries.
The news couldn't come at a worse time, as the veteran prepares to link-up with his new teammates next month ahead of the Matador BBQs One-Day Cup.
Gloucestershire are yet to confirm the extent of the injury and how long Klinger is expected to be out of action.
We would like to wish Maxy a speedy recovery.
