South Africa defeated Australia by three wickets with 22 overs remaining in the second Carlton Mid ODI match in Perth on Sunday.
After winning the toss and electing to bat Australia's batting order failed to fire and were bowled out in the 42nd over, after posting 154 runs.
Mitchell Marsh was the best of the Aussie batsman scoring 67 runs.
Morne Morkel (5-21) was strong with the ball for South Africa taking five wickets for the tourists.
In response, Australia fought back with the ball and Josh Hazlewood picked up his first five wicket haul for Australia finishing with 5-31.
South Africa's David (22*) hit the winning runs with 22 overs left to spare in the match.
