South Africa have defeated Australia by six wickets in the final of the triangular series at Harare Sports Club, Zimbabwe.
After losing the toss and being sent in to bat, Australia found the going difficult, slipping to 7-137 before some late resistance got the end total to 9-217.
Aaron Finch top scored with 54, while James Faulkner made a handy 39 late in the innings.
In response, South Africa set a good tempo in a calculated chase, steered by Hashim Amla (51) and the dominant batsman of the tournament, Faf Du Plessis, who top scored with 96 as the Proteas passed the total for the loss of four wickets and 9.2 overs to spare. AB de Villiers also made 53 not out.
Dale Steyn picked up man of the match, while Faf Du Plessis was named man of the series.
