Bayliss made her debut against New Zealand in Wellington and went on to play six Tests for Australia Women from 1948 – 1951, collecting 16 wickets.
The Victorian was retrospectively presented with her Baggy Green and Test cap number 30.
A sporting all-rounder of immense talent, she was a member of Australia’s first-ever Australian international netball tour in 1948 and inducted into the Australia Netball Hall of Fame in 2012.
