The Western Warriors ended a decade long drought to win the Matador One-Day Cup final at the SCG on Sunday.
Fittingly it was the WA pace attack that again proved the difference, bowling NSW out for 191 to win by 64 runs. WA last won Australia's domestic one-day competition in 2003/04.
Commonwealth Bank Bushranger Cameron White was awarded Player of the Series as voted by the umpires throughout the tournament. White was one of the most consistent players of the Matador Cup, notching up two centuries and two half-centuries for 354 runs at an average of 59 and a strike-rate of 98.
