Membership Update

We've continued to have a tremendous response to our initial membership mail out, with 1229 signing on again for 2015-16 year. There's still time to sign up and at just $50 for an Annual Membership, there's no better value in the game!

I would like to make special mention of the 52 members who have taken out Life Membership of the ACA this month.

It is also pleasing to note that we have, at this point, 34 returning members (who weren't members in 2014-15) and 47 new members. With an improving array of benefits for past players, we believe the ACA will deliver a program that makes a difference to you and any other former player still yet to join, so please spread the word!

ACA Staffing Update

After five and a half years of loyal service, we bid farewell to our Communications Manager - Eivion Bowen.

Eiv has done a mountain of work for the ACA and has been at the forefront of our Masters program and evolving the way we communicate with both our members and external stakeholders.

Eiv joined the ACA from Cricket Victoria in 2010 and has spent over ten years in the sport. He leaves to take up an opportunity in community engagement in the property development industry.

Eiv finishes up with the ACA on 22 December, so we'd like to take this opportunity to thank him for all the work he has put in at the ACA and wish him luck in his future endeavours.

We'd now like to welcome Ben Davies in the newly created role of Brand, Communications and Commercial Manager.

Ben comes to us from the St. Kilda Football Club, where he worked on their strategic projects. He has a wealth of knowledge and experience in Marketing and Communications and can't wait to get started with the ACA, when he joins the office just before Christmas.

Rene Farrell has also joined the ACA team as NSW/ACT Game Development Coordinator. Rene came on board in November to work alongside Greg Matthews in servicing our largest membership region NSW and ACT. Rene will coordinate the game development appearances, while Mo will take care of the personal development of our members.

As well as her current Southern Stars, NSW Breakers and Sydney Thunder caps, Rene brings great game development and administration experience.
