Returning first-class stars bolster ACA Premier Cricket Program

10 October, 2019

One of the primary aims of the ACA Premier Cricket Program is being able to keep former first class players in Premier Cricket for longer. In 2019-20, clubs around Australia are benefiting from a host of returning first-class players, who have been engaged by clubs both interstate and at home.

Fifty ACA members are involved in the Program having not being involved last season, with several players assisting clubs on their first year off-contract. Players involved who recently fell off contract or retired include Peter George, Will Bosisto, Bhavi Devchand, Laura Wright and Tim Ludeman.

Please see below for a more comprehensive look at where some recently off contract players are plying their trade this season.

The ACA Premier Cricket Program is in its fifth season, supporting ACA Members to identify, inspire and instruct talent in male and female Premier Cricket around the country.

Most clubs have now confirmed their ACA Members for 2019-20, with all competitions having kicked off over the past month.
