Ashton Agar has been recalled to the Australian Test squad for the SCG Test, almost 18 months after he his stunning debut at Nottingham.
Selectors would have had the SCG's spin-friendly conditions in mind when they called on the 21-year-old but it was his batting that did the talking when he debuted last winter.
Agar, then 19, broke records with an incredible batting display, posting 98 as a no. 11, while combining with Phillip Hughes for a world record final wicket stand of 163.
The fourth and final Test of the Border-Gavaskar series gets underway on Tuesday 6 January at the SCG.
Australia go into the match with a 2-0 series lead, after drawing the Boxing Day Test with India on Tuesday.
