Augusta Margaret River XI captain Glen Ahola is excited at the prospect of the locals facing up against past legends of the game.
“We’re excited in anticipation for the Masters’ arrival and I know the guys can’t wait to go up against these stars,” Ahola said.
Glen pointed out the importance of the tour for the local community.
“This is one of the best things we’ve seen come into the region for a long time and I applaud the Australian Cricketers’ Association in encouraging interest in cricket within an area that doesn’t get the same access to the game as the city,” he said.
