Australia overcame India in the second World Cup Semi-Final by 95 runs at the SCG on Thursday, setting up a much-anticipated Final with New Zealand at the MCG on Sunday.
Steve Smith (105) and Aaron Finch (81) helped build the Australian innings, before late fireworks from Mitchell Johnson pushed the total to 7-328. The power-hitter smashed 27 off just 9 balls with four fours and one six.
Johnson (2-50) then did some serious damage with the ball, bowling Rohit Sharma (34) and claiming the prizes scalp of Virat Kohli (1).
James Faulkner proved a handful for the Indians, taking 3-59, as Australia's top strike bowler Mitchell Starc ended the night with figures of 2-28 (8.5).
