Wellbeing Services

The ACA will provide six free sessions with a psychologist of your choice. Or we can help you find a registered provider that will suit your needs through our National Wellbeing Network.

This service is confidential and your name will be removed from invoices so your details remain protected.

We also have a partnership with Relationships Australia (RA) for psychology/counselling services. RA can provide support for any concerns you may have, not just relationship issues. The ACA will fund up to six confidential sessions.

You can get in touch via their toll-free number 1300 364 277 and advise them you are a member of the ACA to access their services.

If you think your partner and/or family would benefit from speaking to a psychologist or counsellor they are also welcome to use this service.

For more information on the wellbeing network please contact Megan Pauwels at the ACA on mpauwels@auscricket.com.au.

Medical Support

The ACA Medical Support Scheme supports members with out-of-pocket costs following hospital stays after such things as operations, especially if they are a direct result of an injury sustained during their cricket career.

Service:

  • $500 for out-of-pocket expenses.
  • Members requiring a more significant operation or experiencing financial hardship can be allocated up to $2,000.

Applications will be assessed on a case-by-case basis.
