Left-handed batsman King is the equal-leading run scorer in Bartercard Premier Cricket this season, having struck 344 runs, at an average of 114.67, with two centuries.

The 24-year-old has amassed 11 first eleven centuries for Ringwood and has also claimed 101 wickets.

Tremain will become the 842nd (King the 841st) player to represent Victoria in first-class cricket if he is named in the final side.

After crossing from NSW in the off-season, the bowler, who has taken 18 wickets in six matches, has impressed and made his Bushrangers one-day debut last month.

Victoria will be without Chris Rogers, Peter Siddle and Glenn Maxwell, who are with the Australian Test squad in Abu Dhabi, Cameron White and Aaron Finch, who will be with the Australian T20 squad and James Pattinson, who is continuing his recovery from a back injury.

The Bushrangers and Blues have played annually since 2010-11 for the Zaidee's Cup, which supports organ and tissue awareness, donation and transplant.
