The ACA Masters team
With over 500 International matches of experience between them, the Masters will be putting on a show.
The Masters program has been developed by the ACA, the official representative body of past and present players, with a focus on the promotion of cricket. The program helps local cricket associations to raise funds and identify local talent.
The tour program has been primarily funded by the current first-class and Australian players as part of their commitment to developing the game in regional Australia and engaging with local communities.
ACA CEO Alistair Nicholson spoke about the importance of the Masters program.
“It’s important that we continue to get out to all parts of country and give the locals access to the former legends of the game.
“The squad touring Goulburn and Griffith is one of the strongest we’ve seen after seven years of the program and the locals can look forward to a great show, on and off the field,” he said.
The tour, which runs from 10-14 March, will also include in2CRICKET coaching clinics for primary school children and sportsman’s functions.
