ACA General Manager - Past Players Clea Smith has praised the contributions to cricket of three ACA members, Jeff Kowalick, Peter Davies and Tony Benneworth, after their passing in recent weeks.

"Everyone at the ACA, from the staff to the membership, were saddened to learn of the passing of three of our members in recent times" Smith said.

"The three men contributed heavily to domestic and Premier cricket and will be sorely missed.

"The ACA passes on it's sincere condoloences to the Kowalick, Davies and Benneworth families," Smith concluded. 

Peter John Davies played six First Class games for Victoria and was a Life Member of the Richmond (now Monash Tigers) Cricket Club.

Jeff Kowalick played one First Class game for South Australia and still contributed grassroots level (pictured below). 


Tony Benneworth played 15 First Class games for Tasmania and served for six years in the Tasmanian House of Assembly as a Liberal MP.
