New ACA Chief Executive Alistair Nicholson started officially last Monday and has quickly set himself the task of getting his head around as many of the wide-ranging activities of the organisation as possible. He is currently getting around the country meeting the State and Australian players.
As a former AFL player with Melbourne, he was warmly welcomed by the three Demon-supporting staff here at ACA headquarters. A steady procession of meetings with staff and other key stakeholders has meant we haven’t quite had the chance to grill him on too many personal details but rest assured we’ll have him in the hot seat soon!
Here’s what we do know about Alistair:
Recruited from Gemba – consultants providing Insights, Strategy and Ideas to the global Sport & Entertainment industry. Alistair worked in the Strategy area focussing on governance, product development, commercialisation and participation across a range of sports.
