Club Executive, ACA Premier Cricket Program Manager

Remuneration:
|
- Between $6,500 & $15,000 is available to Premier Clubs to engage ACA members which can be distributed across multiple members.
- No individual ACA member is able to access more than $10,000 of program funding
- (Eligible only to uncontracted ACA Members)

Purpose:
|
The ACA Premier Cricket Program has been designed to support
ACA members in their post-cricket lives via a program that retains and harnesses the skill, experience and knowledge of ACA Members to identify, instruct and inspire talent through both the male and female Premier Cricket pathways.
|
Program Objectives:
|
- Provide a platform for ACA members to remain in Premier Cricket through playing, coaching and talent identification roles;
- Narrow the gap between Premier Cricket and high performance/ domestic cricket;
- Create additional opportunities for clubs to support and enhance existing budgets and structures;
- Grow a sustainable program that ensures Premier Cricket remains the lifeblood of Australian Cricket;
- Retain first-class cricketers in Premier Cricket;
- Provide a higher level of Premier Cricket competition;
- Identify, instruct and inspire the next generation of Australian elite cricketers; and
- To balance Premier Club objectives with the development of emerging talent.

Roles and Responsibilities
|
Roles & Responsibilities could include one or more of the following
- Senior Club Coach
- Senior Assistant
- Assistant Coach – Lower XI Player
- Junior Talent Coach/Mentor – Player
- Provide detailed reports twice a season that monitors the progress of other program objectives.
- Selection Role
- Mentor talent – emotionally and physically
- Relationship with State Talent Manager (STM)– support and utilise CA and State player pathway resources
- Drive and monitor High Performance systems, methods and best practice including (Individual Performance Plans (IPPs), workload management and strategy/analysis)
- Promotion of Premier Cricket as the elite pathway
- Meet minimum standards agreed to by the club, player and ACA/CA
- Support and attend Club functions
- Act as a role model for players, parents and officials
- Be part of a coaching network that includes Professional Development opportunities to understand club & HP systems
- Facilitate consistent communication between players and club officials
- Identify strengths and weaknesses in Premier Cricket

Coaching Requirements
|
- Available to attend training and observe matches on a regular basis as agreed with Club/ACA
- Maintain contact with STM’s as required to discuss players of interest
- Accredited Coach (working towards Level III)
- Work in conjunction with club coaches and selectors to develop club high performance and player development programs
- Direct engagement and input into team selection
- Attend coaching seminar/professional development sessions
- Align and integrate with Premier Cricket’s ethos ‘Be part of the Club’
- Contribute to ‘Out of Season’ planning & player activity/programming – Link to Coach Development
- Achieve key obligations/KPI’s of the ACA program
- Willingness to participate in the induction, development and appointment process

- Working with children
- Level II desirable – obtain qualification if not already accredited
